House Of The Dragon Season 1 Finale Trailer Sets Up A Huge Battle To Come

The Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon wraps up its first season this coming Sunday, October 23, and it looks like the debut season will go out with a bang. A teaser trailer for the season finale has been released, and it sets up an epic showdown between two major factions. The trailer contains big-time spoilers for House of the Dragon.

The trailer picks up immediately after the events of Episode 9, with Rhaenys (Eve Best) flying on a dragon to Dragonstone to warn Rhaenyra (Emma D’Arcy) and Daemon (Matt Smith) know what she just did and about the war to come. Queen Alicent (Olivia Cooke) is urging Rhaenyra to bend the knee and accept Aegon (Tom Glynn-Carney) as the true king, but Daemon says this is unacceptable. Rhaenyra herself would seemingly have no interest in doing so, either, as she has her own claim. So as it stands, it looks like Rhaenyra is going to war against Alicent and Aegon. The Season 1 finale seems like it’ll be very action-packed. Here’s the trailer:
